Kymberly McElgunn Wolff is a senior fundraising executive with more than 18 years of successful client service to the nonprofit sector. She has consulted with a wide spectrum of nonprofit organizations—private and four-year colleges, public universities, community colleges, hospitals and medical centers, human and social service agencies, youth groups, arts organizations, and national associations.
Her breadth of experience includes: organizational development, strategic planning, executive search, capital campaigns, international fundraising, major gifts, corporate and foundation relations, planned giving, and annual giving. In addition, she has extensive experience in volunteer leadership training and experience working with CEOs from Fortune 500 corporations and professional athletic organizations.
Prior to joining The Compass Group, Ms. McElgunn Wolff was a senior vice president with Ketchum, Inc., where she was responsible for the management of a diverse portfolio of clients. She has also served in executive leadership positions at The Mercury Group, Reading Is Fundamental Inc. (RIF), Michigan State University and The Georgia Institute of Technology.
A volunteer for several philanthropic organizations, Ms. McElgunn Wolff recently served as a member of the Atlanta Urban Ministries board. In addition, she is a former member of the board of directors of Children’s Charities of America and the Georgia Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP). She is a frequent presenter and panelist at national conferences sponsored by the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) and the AFP.
Ms. McElgunn Wolff received both her bachelors and master’s degrees from Michigan State University.
